Tommy Bahama
Yes, most everyone in town knows that Tommy Bahama is a fabulous restaurant. The fun and tropical atmosphere coupled with excellent food makes for a perfect combination for a night out or lunch with friends. However, this is our reminder to visit this Old Naples favorite (located on 3rd Street South) in the off season – when it’s less crowded and much easier to get a table.

NAPLES Gems

Bar Tulia – Mercato

We know and love Bar Tulia in Old Naples, so we were delighted when Bar Tulia opened at Mercato. True to their reputation, the food is absolutely fantastic and the vibe lively and hip, truly one of our favorite restaurants in Naples. We all enjoyed either pasta or seafood dishes, and you really can’t go wrong with their homemade pastas, with some flavorful seafood. They even have some unique cocktails to try out as well. Don’t miss out on this gem now in North Naples!

The Cave
The Cave is truly a hidden gem in Naples that has quickly become a favorite of our extended family. Located in The Galleria Shoppes at Vanderbilt, The Cave is an intimate and unique “wine cave” with some of the most delicious food in town. They boast an impressive wine list along with craft cocktails. Add in their separate cheese and charcuterie menu and you are set up well for an extended evening of drinks and appetizers. Of course we highly recommend staying for dinner, as their menu is incredible and full of flavor. Be sure to make a reservation here, as seating is limited, and although you can dine inside or out, the inside is especially magical.
Celebration Park
If you haven’t yet been to Celebration Park, make sure you add this good time to your must do list. A water front bar accompanied by 8 food trucks daily, there is something for everyone in this fun and easy going atmosphere. Live music is playing many days, and both locals and visitors alike will love every minute of the festivities.
Cote D’Azur
Cote D’Azur’s understated elegance is perfectly French, with its charming atmosphere, sidewalk tables and exquisite food. We highly recommend a Valentine’s date or an intimate dinner with friends.
Deep Lagoon
If you’re looking for excellent seafood in a casual but upscale atmosphere, Deep Lagoon is the perfect spot. They have an extensive menu of just about any type of seafood dish you could think up, and everything we’ve tried has been top notch. Enjoy a bottle of wine and a fantastic meal on a date or with friends. You will definitely be heading back again to try out that other menu item you were eyeing.
Gumbo Limbo
Located at the Ritz Carlton off Vanderbilt Beach, Gumbo Limbo is the perfect place for a beach side meal. The food was excellent, and exceeded our expectations with a lot of fresh seafood options – both classics and unique options. Whether you’re grabbing drinks at sunset, or staying for dinner, with a view like this you can’t go wrong.

We’re excited to feature this newly discovered restaurant that has the fun, tropical vibe we all love. Located in the heart of Naples off Neapolitan Way, you can enjoy fresh seafood, while relaxing in a tropical atmosphere with a cocktail and a group of friends.
Kelly’s Fish House

CASUAL Bites

The 239 Naples
We just love the vibe at The 239 Naples, a local farm to table restaurant at Mercato. They have an open air bar, an uplifting and trendy interior, and a large patio to enjoy your meal. They also offer truffle popcorn as your snack at the bar, and the variety of fun drinks you’ll see passing by will make you want to try them all. We’re excited for whoever our winner is to try this fabulous new spot.
Brooks Burgers

Known as one of the best burgers in Naples, Brooks Burgers and Dogs has become a well known spot for visitors and locals alike. They now have three locations that make it convenient for just about everyone in Naples. With live music more nights that not, and a weekly trivia night, their food and atmosphere make it a no brainer to grab a mouth watering burger.
P.S. Did you know these burgers have won national awards?!

Crisp & Green
We were so excited to finally get to try the much anticipated Crisp & Green, located at Founders Square, and boy did they deliver. Their grain bowls were fabulous, and we can’t wait to try their salads, smoothies and acai bowls. We have a feeling we’ll be stopping in here frequently. We also hope to be able to join in one of the free fitness classes they offer.
Food & Thought 2
Food & Thought 2, located on Airport-Pulling Road in North Naples, brings all the fresh, high quality ingredients of the original with a fun and modern vibe. You’ll enter through their outdoor bar where they often have live music and you could easily spend hours enjoying the open and airy space (part of their indoor space is air conditioned) with fabulous cocktails and appetizers. We’ve already enjoyed happy hours and lunches there and will continue to go back for more.

LOCAL Breweries

Ankrolab Brewing
Ankrolab Brewing Company provides the perfect setting for a laid back outing with friends. The brewery offers a large patio with a unique fountain which really adds to the experience. Whether playing cornhole, grabbing food from a local food truck on site, or just sipping beer you will enjoy this newer Naples brewery. They also offer trivia Tuesdays and Yoga every Sunday, along with a full calendar of different events to check out.
Rip Tide Brewing
We love Rip Tide Brewing for being the family owned and operated organization that truly feels local in every aspect. Rip Tide offers delicious, Florida brewed beer along with various food trucks and live music throughout the week. We’ve heard Addison’s – a food truck known for the best fried chicken around – has been spotted there, giving us even more reason to check out this great brewery.

COFFEE Shops

Carole’s House Café

Carole’s House Café is a charming French café and bakery, with the original location in East Naples off Tamiami Trail East and a new location in The Strand Plaza in North Naples. Everything about Carole’s House Café encompasses Parisian culture, from the chic interior, the French music surrounding you, and of course the buttery and fabulous croissants (chocolate in our case) that will have you quickly wanting a second treat. Carole’s House Café offers a variety of French pastries, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and coffee drinks. Carole herself has been a longtime resident of Collier County. Most her her 25 years in the U.S. has been spent here and we’re just happy she’s opened her cafés and given us the opportunity to try her fantastic French delights.

Foxtail Coffee

This Florida based small chain offers craft coffee that is smooth and delicious. Their menu offers something for everyone, and their fun and inviting space will make you want to take a few minutes to hang out and maybe even enjoy a pastry.

Naples Coffee Bar

Naples Coffee Bar is a hip coffee bar located in North Naples (intersection at 41 and Immokalee), and is definitely worth checking out. The vibe is modern, and they have pastries and breakfast and lunch food in addition to a large variety of coffee drinks. The spinach and parmesan cheese puff pastry is a family favorite, and we even have one extended family member who tried to have them shipped to Ohio he loved them so much.

BREAKFAST and Brunch

Blueberry’s Restaurant

Located on Tamiami Trail just south of Park Shore Drive, Blueberry’s Restaurant is a classic breakfast spot with delicious food. Their menu is extensive and they offer something for everyone. We tried their crepes and were delighted with the flavor and quality of our meal. Add in the great service, and this is the perfect spot to head to breakfast or lunch.

Mimosa of Naples

As you may have guessed, Mimosa of Naples has over 24 varieties of Mimosas, all available to be served in a mason jar to complete the brunchy vibe. In addition to their fantastic Mimosa options, their breakfast and lunch menu was fabulous with options for both the sweet and the savory lovers. We thoroughly enjoyed our California Scramble, and will be back to sample the many other delicious menu items. Service was outstanding and the atmosphere is that of a modern yet traditional local breakfast joint.

Naples Brunch Restaurant

We were so excited when we walked into this new brunch spot and immediately loved the upbeat and modern vibe. The new restaurant, located off of Pine Ridge at Mission Square, has a refreshingly diverse menu, and the food was just as fabulous as it sounded. Make sure to add to your list of new restaurants to try, and follow them on Instagram for updates.

SWEET Eats

Angelic Desserts

Located in the Galleria Shoppes at Vanderbilt, Angelic Desserts is a local gem we just recently discovered. This locally owned bakery has a beautiful assortment of desserts, pastries and coffees making it vey difficult to choose your treat. Make it a point to to visit Angelic Bakery and experience their uplifting and cozy vibe while indulging in your favorite treat. This is also a perfect option to provide dessert for a special occasion. The Thanksgiving cookies we purchased there, seen here, were just as delicious as they are beautiful.

BEYOND Naples

Angelina’s Ristorante

In compliment to Parmesan Pete’s, Angelina’s offers the experience of fine Italian dining just north of Naples in Bonita Springs. With a warm and vibrant atmosphere and fantastic food, this is another Italian must try. You’ll be treated to live piano music and a wide variety of fine wines.

Island Gypsy

We actually visited Island Gypsy the day before the hurricane hit, and we’re so happy to report that they have already been able to reopen. Island Gypsy Café is located on the unassuming and charming Isles of Capri, and truly delivers the perfect waterfront atmosphere. The restaurant and bar is located right on the water, and with string lights, a cabana style bar and café, and an island vibe – you’ll want to stay for extra drinks after your meal. They even have a cute gift shop on site. All of their seafood sandwiches look amazing, and we loved the lobster roll and house chips we tried for lunch. We’ll definitely be back to try another meal soon.
