Maybe you’ve seen artists’ pour paintings on canvases and wondered, “Could I ever create something like that?” The answer, of course, is a resounding yes!

Acrylic pouring is one of the most impressive painting processes, producing stunning works of abstract art. It’s also one of the easiest painting techniques to learn — no brushwork, no shading, just vibrant liquid color creating fascinating patterns right before your eyes.

Marie will instruct on at least 1 or 2 different fluid techniques in each class. You can choose one to try yourself. There will be some instructions on composition and color combinations that play well together.

Marie will guide you step-by-step, ensuring that you are comfortable and confident as you explore fluid art. Whether you are a beginner or an art enthusiast, you will find joy in creating your unique masterpiece.

Additional information: Each person will be provided with one canvas (extra canvas can be purchased for an additional $5.) Paint and fluid set, pouring medium (and how to make your own) water, silicone, cups, stirring sticks) will be provided. The drying process for your artwork may take a couple of days. Once it is fully dried, you have the option to pick it up in person or let us know who will pick it up for you. Dress in clothes that you don’t care about spotting with paint or bring an apron and a pair of kitchen gloves. We will provide latex free gloves if you forget. Get ready to surprise yourself and have fun with paint!
