The 3rd Annual Run 3 for Joey D 5K benefits The Joey D Foundation, a non-profit organization that honors the life of Joey DiPascale. Joey was an incredible friend, student, and teammate in his community – but most of all, he was an incredible brother and son. After his life was tragically cut short on April 10th, 2021, we made it our mission to allow Joey to always continue what he did best – help others. The Joey D Foundation was created with the belief that a positive impact on the youth in our local community will create positive change in our world. With Joey’s giving spirit in mind, an endowment scholarship fund was set up to provide a fully funded college education to one underserved student in Collier County every year, forever. The foundation also supports youth sports initiatives in Collier County to help kids realize their potential on and off the field, something Joey always helped others achieve.
